Yes! Now we enter the first month of spring! The days are getting brighter and the temperature is rising slowly but steady. We hope it affects your mood as positively as it does ours.

WHAT DID WE DO IN FEBRUARY? πŸ’ͺ

“It’s hard to figure out where the most orders drop in my city”

No need to ride around in the city to find orders, because we’ve introduced “Hot Spots” in your foodora rider app. The hot spot function can be seen on your map, where the areas are lit up in red. It is in these areas where we receive the most orders on the day. It is therefore a good idea after you have started your shift in the star zone that you move towards these spots.

“It’s a shame that there is only one starting zone in my city”

We hear you! And we have just set up several new start zones in Aarhus, Odense and a bigger one in Silkeborg. Then you can decide for yourself which starting zone you want to start your shift in.

In addition, we have extended the opening hours in Silkeborg, so that you riders who ride in the city can now ride for lunch.

“Why can’t I put myself on and off breaks, whilst on a slot?”

When you are on a slot  you can request a break at any time (Except when you are running a delivery).

1. Press the headphones

2. Select β€œBreak”

3. Choose the length of your break and press β€œRequest”

4. Your break will be approved and you can relax in the time interval you have chosen

When you want to end your break, then please do the following:

1. Press the headphones

2. Select β€œBreak”

3. Press β€œEnd Break”

4. Your ending of break will be approved and you can continue your work

Remember to answer all surveys that are sent your way! It is your feedback that enables us to work on projects to improve your and other riders’ everyday life.

Please also include the positive aspects of being a rider, so we know that we don’t have to make any changes to exactly what you are happy about.
