February Updates

Newest updates January 31, 2023

Now we are kicking off the last winter month – We look forward to spring soon!

WHAT HAPPENED IN JANUARY?💫

January the 1st was on fire! Huge round of applause to you who were out delivering Take Away to our hungover customers. We greatly appreciate your work.

We have chosen to focus our resources and our own delivery with riders in 7 cities around Denmark – Copenhagen, Odense, Aarhus, Aalborg, Viborg, Randers & Silkeborg. Our customers will therefore be able to use pickup or the restaurants’ own delivery in the remaining cities that we used to have riders within. At foodora, we work to become Scandinavia’s largest delivery platform for all customers. To achieve this goal, we need to adapt and continue to grow in our best cities. We are super grateful to all of you riders who would like to move to one of the 7 cities mentioned above.

When you deliver as a rider to a customer whose address you cannot find. You can now both chat and call the customer via your foodora rider app. This means that if the location is not quite accurate on the app’s map, you and the customer have the opportunity to guide each other to the right place.

WHAT WILL HAPPEN IN FEBRUARY?💭

At foodora’s rider team, we are constantly working to improve your everyday life.

Every month we send out different surveys that you have the opportunity to answer. We use your answers to make riders’ everyday lives better.

Remember to include the things that work well. By doing so, we ensure that we are not going to change anything that you are really happy about. but instead, focus on something else.

But what can we reveal now?

MORE STARTZONES 💨

We have been told from many of you that some of the starting zones have been far from the orders you first received when you came on slots. That is why we have opened some new start zones in: Aarhus, Odense and Silkeborg (Marked in red in the pictures below).

RIDER AGENTS IN COPENHAGEN 🤵🤵

As a new project, we have got two Rider Agents in Copenhagen. Their task is to help new riders get off to a good start, regardless of whether it concerns equipment, how the app works or how deliveries are completed.

LUNCH CAMPAGIN WITH JOE & THE JUICE 🧃🥪 🥑

Throughout February we are running a cool lunch campaign together with Joe & the Juice in all cities, except Randers! This means you have to be ready to run a lot of orders during lunch hours.

We will be continuously adding more slots during the lunch hours, so keep an eye out!

HAVE YOU BEEN IN AN ACCIDENT WHILE RIDING?🤕

If you have had an accident while riding as a foodora rider, please answer this survey. One of our biggest focus points is to take the best possible care of you.
